Our founder, Wilbur Thrush Sr., started installing gutter systems and replacing roofs in 1960. He worked hard, delivered what he promised, showed respect for everyone and built lasting relationships with customers. Wilbur also paved the way for the next generation to expand and grow the business. In the year after his son, Allen, bought out the business, revenues tripled over a previous record year, and the number of satisfied customers continued to grow, as well. Together with his wife, Michelle, Allen brought the Thrush & Son® corporate business into the next millennium, with a drive to build a professional corporation that still treated every single customer like family. The next generation was brought into the business some years later, as Allen’s son Corey joined the team. Allen, Michelle and Corey remain actively involved in the business to this date. Today, the family welcomes like-minded entrepreneurs to bring the Thrush & Son® business model to more communities.
